Sber and Vladimir Region Government agree to digitalize region
Sber, in the person of Deputy Chairman of the Sberbank Executive Board Kirill Tsaryov, and the Government of Vladimir Region, in the person of Governor Alexander Avdeyev, have signed a cooperation agreement at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The purpose of the agreement is to implement and develop digitalization initiatives in Vladimir Region. The long-term mutually beneficial cooperation is aimed at the economic evolution of the region and the implementation of the nationwide program called Digital Economy of the Russian Federation.
The parties committed to holding joint events, workshops, roundtables, consultations on the subject of the agreement. These will include public authorities, local authorities and other interested organizations as participants.

The agreement we have signed with the Government of Vladimir Region is aimed at the development of innovative technology. Last year, the region approved a digital transformation strategy, which aims to achieve digital maturity in key sectors of the regional economy: transport and communications, education and medicine, public administration and social sector, construction and manufacturing industry. A tech leader in Russia, Sber is ready to share its designs and help the region succeed in navigating its digital transformation. The adoption of new technology will enable growth of the region’s economy, increase the competitiveness of local products, and, most importantly, the quality of life.

Today’s agreement with one of Russia’s leaders in the digital technology market opens up new opportunities for our region and its inhabitants. Digital services projects have social importance and address several tasks facing Vladimir Region amid its digitalization: increasing accessibility, speed, usability and security. We also hope that our cooperation will be strengthened in terms of joint implementation of other projects aimed at all-round development of our region.
