TEDA Achieves New Successes in Green Manufacturing
In the 2023 Tianjin Green Manufacturing Units list released by the Tianjin Industrial and Information Technology Bureau, 10 TEDA enterprises, including Tianjin Aerospace Long March Rocket Manufacturing Co., Ltd., were recognized as green factories, and 4 TEDA enterprises, including Tianjin Denso Electronics Co., Ltd., were rated as green supply chain management enterprises. The number of ranked TEDA enterprises accounts for nearly one-fifth of the total in Tianjin, reflecting the region’s new achievements in promoting new industrialization and accelerating green development.
Over the years, TEDA has taken the creation of green manufacturing benchmark enterprises as a key initiative to promote technological transformation and industrial green upgrading. To date, TEDA has 30 national-level green factories and 12 national-level green supply chain management enterprises. At the municipal level, there are 74 green factories and 4 green supply chain management enterprises in TEDA, leading the city in quantity and initially realizing the demonstration effect of green manufacturing clustering.
